Croatia, especially the Adriatic coast is a well known destination to many Europeans. With more than 1200 islands, several national parks and UNESCO World Heritage sites, all located in a relatively small area, you can see and do a lot while on vacation here, even if you are only visiting for a short time.

 

We are located in the very heart of the Croatian coast, near the City of Zadar and very close to some of the most popular Croatian islands and national parks (NP).  NP Plitvice Lakes is within 2 hours drive, NP Krka is within 1 hour drive and NP Kornati can be accessed by boat tours from Zadar, a short 30 min drive.  If spending your time on the beach and enjoying the sea and the sun is what you like to do most, then look no further.  Our apartments are located a short walk from the beach.

 

The village of Mletak (part of the town of Privlaka) is located approximately a 30 min drive from Zadar in the direction of Nin and the island of Vir (North-West).  The village is tucked away from the main road, meaning no through traffic and minimal local traffic.  There is a small grocery store with basic supplies for everyday needs.  Larger stores can be found in Privlaka and Nin (5-10 min away) while Zadar (30 min away) has all the amenities you might need.  There are no restaurants in Mletak, but several can be found in Privlaka and Nin.

 

We invite you to spend a truly enjoyable vacation in our apartments. Our apartments and the nearby beach are especially suitable for families with young children.  Our house is located less than a 5 minute walk from the sea.  You can choose to soak and play at the nearby sandy beach, with knee-deep and warm sea water, ideal for small children.  Alternatively, walk the other way down to  the local marina and relax on the rocks behind the wall.

 

If you wake up early enough and make your way down to the local marina, you may catch local fishermen bringing in the morning catch.
